Led marketing during key period of growth including redesigning the website, developing brand partnerships and driving ad revenue for Tastemade, a global community of food, home, and travel lovers.

 

Kroger was launching HemisFares Gelato and looking to drive purchase intent, align with the world’s best ingredients and position the product as the best gelato on Earth. We developed SOURCED: a Tastemade original series exploring unique areas of the world that harvest ingredients of the highest quality. Host Guy Turland (a Tastemaker, chef and world traveler) took viewers on culinary adventures in Sicily, Spain, Thailand, Japan and Oaxaca. As he traveled to each location he met with local purveyors, learned about their product’s history and local specialties and then created a meal inspired by the regional flavors and each “sourced” ingredient. HemisFares’ gelato was woven throughout the series via branding, product placement, product usage and contextual alignment of the “sourced” ingredient with the gelato flavors. This was a journey of epicurean proportions. In fact, the show was so successful it was one of the first used to launch Tastemade’s TV channel.
